“The body does not lie”. This statement is not only the fundamental basis for the body language studies, but also the key interpretation driver to explain the Italian way of gesticulating. In reality, this behavior is not only related to the Italian capacity to communicate without uttering words, but it becomes a tool to better understand many aspects of the emotional intelligence.
This is the articulated message delivered in a captivating and interactive way by Luca Vullo, through its performance (“The Voice of the Body”) on stage last October 23rd at the Soul Live Project Hall in HCMC: an event co-organized by the Consulate General of Italy and Amberstone Media on the occasion of the Week of Italian Language in the World.
Luca Vullo, who was accompanied on stage by his mother Angela Gabriele, has performed his show in front of 200 audiences. The performance moved from the origin of Italian gesticulation to our days and showcased the intrinsic cultural value of our gestures, which bring additional codes and an entire grammar to the Italian capacity of expression and of delivering messages and emotions.
“La Voce del Corpo” has also been presented by Luca Vullo the day before, on October 22nd, in the form of a workshop, to the students of Italian language and culture of the Department of Italian language at the HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
