The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City will host the 27th Annual International Charity Bazaar on Saturday, 12th November 2022, at the Caravelle Saigon, 19-23 Lam Son Square, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This landmark event is the club’s first major fundraising event since the pandemic, and they are bringing back their international charitable spirit with a high energy cultural bazaar rich with global products, international food, and a wide range of cultural performances. The Consular Club is an established volunteer-run charity of almost 30 years working to enhance the lives of disadvantaged people in Southern Vietnam with particular focus on aid for orphans, the disabled, the elderly and minority groups.
Mrs. Milena Padula, President, explains: “For nearly 30 years our bazaar has been an extremely popular event. Over 1,000 guests attend each year to purchase a variety of products from all over the world (handicrafts, clothes, home decoration, jewelry, etc.). They enjoy freshly prepared international food and entertainment by talented performances in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. All the money raised at our bazaars is used to fund projects to improve the lives of underprivileged communities in Vietnam. The bazaar is our main annual fundraising event.”
Many esteemed local and international corporate sponsors (Caravelle Hotel Saigon, Columbia Sportswear, De Heus and many more) have made generous contributions to the bazaar so there will be opportunities for guests to win some truly amazing raffle prizes that are valued over 2.5M VND each. To join the fun, entry tickets can be purchased at the door. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event. Doors will be open from 10.30am – 4.00pm. Entrance tickets cost 100,000 VND/pp, children under 10 are free. Raffle tickets cost 50,000 VND each.
