HCMC, April 7th, 2021 – The workshop “Solar Power for Factories. Everything you need to know”, devoted to local manufacturing companies and organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce (ICHAM) on behalf of BEC – Bestiani Engineering Company, an Italian engineering company installing solar power in Vietnam, took place today at the Saigon Tech Park’s Datalogic factory.
With the cooperation of Bonfiglioli and Datalogic, two very solid Italian manufacturing players in Vietnam already provided with solar panel for their energy consumption, the workshop showcased the Italian tech&engineering edge in sustainable manufacturing. The event was open by Consul General Dante Brandi and was followed by a visit to the solar panel rooftop installation.
BEC’s industrial and business models prove very effective in supporting the Vietnamese policies of switching the energy mix towards renewables sources. They also prove consistent with the Italian commitment, both from the private sector and the authorities, in fighting climate change, as demonstrated by the Italian co-chairmanship, along with the UK, of the COP26 in 2021.
