“A Night of Italian Music” is the concert performed last Saturday 5 October by Italian conductor Roberto Fiore and musicians and singers of the HBSO – HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, as part of the cultural program of the Italian Consulate General of Italy in HCMC.
The concert offered a wide variety of Italian music repertoire: from classic opera masterpieces such as Traviata, Cavalleria Rusticana, Nabucco, Rigoletto, to traditional Neapolitan songs like Santa Lucia, O Sole Mio, Non Ti Scordar Di Me. Very popular pieces from soundtracks Italian composers like Nicola Piovani and Ennio Morricone completed a very appreciated repertoire, beautifully performed to offer a unique experience to the Saigonese audience.
