The Italian jazz quartet “Enzo Favata Glocal Report” has been protagonist of two amazing performances in HCMC last Saturday 29 and Sunday 30.
The Italian band, very well known in the Italian and international jazz scene, has performed for the first time in Saigon, after the successful dates in Hanoi and Haiphong, as part of the cultural program of the Consulate General of Italy in HCMC.
The first concert, “Classic Meets Jazz” took place at the historic Saigon Opera House. It consisted in a very effective and captivating sequence of classical and jazz tones, performed by the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra, the Saigon Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Vietnamese jazz band “Jumpforjazz”, and the Italian quartet “Enzo Favata Glocal Report”.
In the Sunday’s concert, hosted by the Soul Academy auditorium (Soul Project Live), Enzo Favata and his talented quartet offered a sophisticated jazz performance, with an elegant jazz language full of contamination, able to enchant the jazz-lovers audience, full of young musicians.
