Event “Made in Italy Afloat: Italian Excellence on the Saigon River”, 14 April 2026
The 2026 edition of Made in Italy Day, organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, was dedicated to Italian excellence in the recreational boating sector, an area in which Italy continues to confirm its position as a global leader, particularly in the superyacht segment.
The event, hosted on board the Azimut S7—an iconic model embodying the key strengths of Italian yachting—against the exceptional backdrop of the Saigon River, brought together media representatives and local entrepreneurs, providing a dynamic platform to promote Italian craftsmanship and create new opportunities for collaboration.
During the immersive experience, guests had the opportunity to:
- explore the technological and design features of Italian yachts, a sector that reflects an industrial system capable of combining sophisticated design, advanced engineering, and increasing attention to sustainability, including through the use of innovative materials and cutting-edge propulsion solutions;
- take part in a guided tasting of premium Italian wines;
- enjoy a gastronomic journey curated by an Italian chef.
Consul General Alessandra Tognonato emphasized that Made in Italy represents not only a mark of quality, but also an integrated model combining tradition, innovation, and sustainability—elements that are increasingly appreciated by the Vietnamese market.
