Italy participated in the 19th edition of the Vietnam International Dental Exhibition & Congress – VIDEC 2026, the leading event for the dental industry in Vietnam held at the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City.
For the first time, 11 Italian companies were present with an Italian Pavilion organized by ITA – the Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with UNIDI – the Italian National Union of Dental Industries, to showcase to the dynamic Vietnamese market the innovation, technology, and excellence that distinguish Italy’s dental industry.
During the opening ceremony, the Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City Alessandra Tognonato highlighted the significant opportunities for cooperation between Italy and Vietnam in a rapidly growing sector, where prevention, sustainability, and accessibility in care delivery are shared priorities. With more than 90% of Vietnam’s population affected by dental diseases, the potential for new partnerships is immense.
VIDEC 2026 therefore represents another valuable opportunity to strengthen the economic cooperation between Italy and Vietnam, fostering the exchange of expertise and creating new business opportunities.
