On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Republic Day, the Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, Alessandra Tognonato, was interviewed by Thanh Niên, a leading Vietnamese daily newspaper and one of the country’s major publications.
The interview, which begins with a discussion of the significance of June 2, explores contemporary Italy: creativity, the excellence of “Made in Italy,” innovation, and the ability to blend tradition with the future.
During the interview, attention was also given to the dynamism of the Italy–Vietnam partnership—ranging from scientific cooperation to space exploration—and to study opportunities in Italy for Vietnamese students.
