Today, the Consul General Alessandra Tognonato and the Italian Language Lecturer, Prof. Cinzia Grieco, were received by Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) – VNUHCM.
The meeting focused on strengthening academic cooperation between Italy and Vietnam, with a view to supporting the internationalization of Italian universities and highlighting the importance of linguistic immersion as a key tool for learning the Italian language and culture.
Training young people with solid linguistic skills, including Italian, represents a fundamental added value for Italian companies operating in Vietnam. This is a path that the Consulate actively and firmly supports.
Within this framework, a ceremony was held for the donation of several volumes to the University to support the teaching of the Italian language.
