The Foundation Year is a preparatory course taught in Italian tailored to prospective students who want to access undergraduate degrees at the University of Pavia. The course is designed for students who do not meet the minimum 12 years of schooling required for enrollment in an Italian University Degree course.
The length of the program will be from October to July.
The program will include:
– from October to July: acquisition of Italian language and culture, until the achievement of a B2 level, starting from 3 levels: basic, intermediate low, intermediate high.
– Every month is planned an historical, artistic and gastronomic tour in Lombardy region
– From January 2020, courses for FY students in one of the following areas:
- Humanities
- Economics, Law and Politics
- Science
Students passing the final Italian language test will be exempted from the Italian test and interview required for the degree courses admission in the Pavia University.
