HCMC, Aug 31st 2020 – Through panels, images and the vivid voices of pupils, the exhibition impressively showcases the extraordinary potential of children’s “hundred languages”, at the core of the revolutionary pedagogic philosophy of Loris Malaguzzi, theorist of the del Reggio Emilia approach® for preschools. The exhibition was organized by Reggio Children and its official representative in Vietnam, Global Embassy, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Italy in HCMC. The exhibition has been opened by Mr. Thanh Bui, founder of Global Embassy, and the Consul General of Italy in HCMC, Dante Brandi, while Dr. Claudia Giudici, President of Reggio Children, sent her official remarks, being unable to travel to Vietnam because of the pandemic. The initiative marked also the kick-off of the training activities carried out by Global Embassy to form and train operators, educators and teachers on the Reggio Children methodology in Vietnam. After HCMC, the exhibition will be showcased also in Hanoi and Danang. It marks an important step in the development of the partnership between Reggio Children and Global Embassy, as well as a remarkable initiative, which consolidates the cultural and educational relations between Italy and Vietnam.
