ITALIAN SHORT FILM DAY

HCMC, 21 December 2020 – As for 2019, also in 2020 the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City celebrates Short Film Day. Precisely in the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, the six short films selected and made available by the Italian Short Film Center were screened in the conference room of the Consulate General, in the presence of Vietnamese students of Italian language and literature, lovers of the short genre and film enthusiasts, as part of the program of the Italian Cultural Days in Saigon. The selected shorts, which are all productions of 2019, are Il Nostro Tempo by Veronica Spedicati, Lunedì by Massimo Fallai, Mezze Stagioni by Bruno Ugioli and Riccardo Menicatti, Passaggi by Beppe Leonetti, 14 by Aldo Surricchio and Jiaozi by Luca Canale Brucculeri. A reception with authentic Italian specialties and wine, provided by the Italian restaurant Pendolasco, followed the screening, as an occasion to exchange the best wishes for the holiday season.
