HCMC, 28 luglio 2020 \u2013 A pochi giorni dall\u2019entrata in vigore dell\u2019accordo di libero scambio tra UE e Vietnam, prevista per il 1\u00b0 agosto, si \u00e8 svolto a HCMC un articolato incontro tra i rappresentanti di EuroCham, la \u2018confederazione\u2019 delle Camere di Commercio dei paesi europei in Vietnam, e i vertici dell\u2019amministrazione cittadina, guidati dal Presidente del Comitato del Popolo Nguyen Thanh Phong. EuroCham ha potuto in tal modo illustrare al Primo Cittadino e ai responsabili dei vari dipartimenti municipali le raccomandazioni di policy contenute nel Whitebook 2020 per rendere l\u2019ambiente di affari della capitale economica del paese ancor pi\u00f9 accogliente. Tra le misure sollecitate dalla comunit\u00e0 di affari europea, quella di una facilitazione al rilascio dei visti e delle autorizzazioni all\u2019ingresso di personale altamente qualificato nel paese, dove ancora vige il divieto di ingresso per i cittadini stranieri promulgato il 22 marzo scorso. A tale sollecitazione, il Presidente Phong ha replicato garantendo l\u2019istituzione di un apposito comitato incaricato di facilitare tali procedure, selezionare le strutture dove poter svolgere la quarantena obbligatoria all\u2019ingresso e coordinare la risposta delle diverse autorit\u00e0 coinvolte. L\u2019incontro, cui erano presenti tra gli altri il Console Generale Dante Brandi, il Vicepresidente di EuroCham Tomaso Andreatta e il Presidente di ICHAM Michele D\u2019Ercole, ha costituito anche una valida occasione per approfondire le opportunit\u00e0 di sviluppo delle relazioni commerciali tra Unione Europea e Vietnam a seguito dell\u2019entrata in vigore dell\u2019EUVFTA. \u00c8 emerso dal simposio come le incoraggianti stime di crescita dell\u2019import-export bilaterale possano essere ulteriormente consolidate attraverso attivit\u00e0 di formazione dei funzionari incaricati di settori come quello doganale o delle certificazioni, nonch\u00e9 azioni di informazione verso le comunit\u00e0 di affari delle due parti, specie le PMI, al fine di cogliere tutte le potenzialit\u00e0 del nuovo accordo.<\/p>\n
