One of the most buzzed-about events on Vietnam\u2019s design circuit, the Italian Design Day is back in this November, this time to explore the theme of \u201cDrawing the Future. Development, Innovation, Sustainability, Beauty\u201d starting with the exhibition of Vico Magistretti in 4 universities and a seminar.<\/p>\n

What will we do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exploring the idea of sustainable development and preservation of beauty on a global scale through the debates and discussions with art lovers, designers, architects, as well as landscape and urban developers.<\/p>\n

Keynote Speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n

Architect Marco Casamonti \u2013 Ambassador of \u201cItalian Design Day 2020\u201d in Vietnam. Casamonti is the co-founder as well as a famous architecture of ARCHEA ASSOCIATI \u2013 One of the top architectural firm all over the world with prestigious architecture awards. He is the author of famous \u201cCeramic wonderland\u201d in Liling (China), The cellars of Cantina Antinori (Italy) or the Albanian National Stadium (Albania).<\/p>\n

Together with experts, architects and designers\u2026 from Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The program of the IDD2020 in Vietnam is also enriched by a Vico Magistretti Exhibition at Mientrung University of Civil Engineering, Tuy Hoa running from 17 October to 21 November. Displaying sketches and drawings of one of the founders of contemporary Italian design, it offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of Vico Magistretti and his design philosophy. The exhibition will be held at 4 universities nationwide: Mien Trung University of Civil Engineering (Tuy Hoa), National University of Civil Engineering (Hanoi), Van Lang University and Hoa Sen University (HCMC) during October and November.<\/p>\n
