On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, we celebrate the essential contribution of women to building dialogue, cooperation and peace. Promoting the full and equal participation of women in diplomacy helps make it more inclusive, representative and effective.<\/p>\n
To mark this occasion, on 24 June, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City Alessandra Tognonato participated in an event hosted by the Consulate General of the Netherlands, bringing together eight women Consuls General and female students from the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM).<\/p>\n
The initiative provided an opportunity to discuss leadership, resilience and women’s empowerment, encouraging young participants to invest in their education, believe in their abilities and play an active role in shaping increasingly inclusive international relations.<\/p>\n
\u00a0On this day, we pay tribute to all women who, through their competence, determination and vision, contribute every day to building a more open and cooperative world.<\/p>\n
