They meet a growing popularity around the globe and they constitute a meaningful part of the educational offer of the eminent University of Social Sciences and Humanities of HCMC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is the message sent by Consul General Dante Brandi at the university\u2019s new academic year opening ceremony. The event was held last September 9th at the presence of the highest authorities of the education and university sector of the city and the country, including Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member and Head of PCC\u2019s Commission for Communication and Education, and Prof. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, Rector of the HCMC University of Social Science and Humanity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate the brilliant achievements of this academic institution, with its 16,000 students enrolled and a teaching offer of 57 Bachelor\u2019s Degree programs, 43 Master&#8217;s Degree programs and 10 international study programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The University has also established the Department of Italian Linguistics and Literature in 2008. On the occasion, Consul General Brandi has welcomed and greeted the sixty new students enrolled in the academic year 2019-20, as well as the professors and lecturers.
