The promotional event, dedicated to showcasing Italian technology, products, and know-how, was organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) in collaboration with Prometeo Group, under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam and the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, with the support of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City.
Hosted at APEC Park and open to the public free of charge, the event brought together over forty Italian companies alongside Vietnamese and international partners, institutional representatives, and media, with a diverse program featuring product and technology exhibitions, B2B meetings, sectoral workshops, and cultural and culinary activities.
The initiatives on 5 and 6 November saw the participation of the entire “Italy System” — including the Ambassador of Italy to Vietnam Marco della Seta, the Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City Alessandra Tognonato, representatives from SACE, SIMEST, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) — together with local authorities such as the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Hồ Quang Bửu and the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyễn Thanh Bình.
During the welcome dinner on 5 November, Consul General Tognonato emphasized that “the Italian Days represent a dynamic platform to connect systems — public and private, business and culture, talents and territories,” reaffirming that Italy’s goal is “not only to be present, but to participate and co-create new opportunities for growth with the city.”
At the opening ceremony on 6 November, Ambassador della Seta remarked that “beyond trade, this is also a celebration of shared values. Italians and Vietnamese alike appreciate beauty, quality, and authenticity in craftsmanship, design, and lifestyle. These affinities make our cooperation natural and meaningful.”
On the occasion of the Forum, ICHAM and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen relations between Italian and Vietnamese SMEs.
