In view of the upcoming Space Day, the Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, Alessandra Tognonato, met with a group of Italian professors and researchers to exchange ideas and explore future opportunities for scientific and academic collaboration between Italy and Vietnam.

The discussion focused on key areas such as space exploration, geology, and innovation, emphasizing the importance of joint initiatives and knowledge sharing in addressing global challenges through science and technology.

A special acknowledgment goes to Professors Patrizia Sacco, Maria Antonia Brovelli, Matej Žgela, Lorenzo Colantoni, and Deodato Tapete, who later took part in the workshop “Analysis of Local Climate Zones and Urban Heat Island using Geomatic and EO techniques” held in Ho Chi Minh City.
