HCMC, DECEMBER 11TH, 2019 – There is a HUGE potential for the fashion industry in Vietnam. Not only as expanding manufacturing powerhouse for many global brands with a sustainable and responsible approach, but also as a laboratory where dynamism, global influences and different sources of inspirations could lead to new opportunities and forms of creativity

These were the main takeaways from the “Fashion Talks” conversation on creativity, manufacturing and the future of fashion organized in Saigon by Istituto Marangoni, the leading training academy in Italy for fashion and design with branches all over the world, and powered by the Consulate General of Italy in HCMC, the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) and by Anna Vo Fashion. The audience was composed by more than 50 students in fashion design and business, teachers, academics and representative of the fashion sector in Vietnam.

A stimulating debate on creative hubs, on sustainable approach to fashion, on sources of inspirations has been moderated by Anna Vo, creative designer for the Vietnamese jewelry company PNG, founder of Anna Vo Fashion and brand Ambassador for Istituto Marangoni in Vietnam, and animated by Irena Miniotaite, project manager at the innovative and sustainable denim manufacturing company Saitex, and by Tran Minh Phuong, Lancôme brand manager in Vietnam.
