On 20th July 2018, on the occasion of the visit to Hue City, Consul General Dante Brandi and Head for Trade and Economic Section of Italian Embassy Antonino Tedesco, after the courtesy meeting with Hue Authorities, took part in a fruitful meeting with Assoc. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HUE UMP) and Professor Cappucinelli, the emeritus professor of Sassari University (UNISS).
The intensified dialogue with Hue UMP had been furthered to support the project of “Strengthening the capacity of education, scientific research and treatment at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University’s hospital” using the ODA loan of Italian Government and to enhance the partnership with UNISS and the development of Carlo Urbani Centre for Respiratory Infections.
