The “Italy’s Wood&Furniture Industry – Business Mission to Vietnam” was successfully co-organized by the Italian Trade Commission in Vietnam and FederlegnoArredo – the Italian federation of wood, cork, furniture and furnishing manufacturers (FLA) in 3 days from 26-28 June 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City.
In his opening remarks at the press conference held on June 26th, Consul General Dante Brandi stressed the importance of focusing on the development of the Vietnamese market, which is experiencing a higher demand for Italian lifestyle and quality products, along the consistent increase of spending capacity of its middle-class.
After a seminar event, the seven participating Italian companies (specialized in furniture, kitchens, lighting and artistic mosaic) attended B2B working session on June 27, with Vietnamese real estate developers, architects, interior designers, importers, distributors and dealers. The delegation also met major Vietnamese property development corporations and visited a number of high-end residential projects as well as luxury furniture showroom in Ho Chi Minh City.
