HCMC, January 20, 2021 – An effective webinar meeting and presentation with over 40 connected Italian companies was held today in videoconference between Italy, Vietnam, Hong Kong and other locations, on the occasion of the first operation in Vietnam (and in the entire southern region -East Asia) of the PUSH strategy program of SACE, the Italian export credit agency, signed with NutiFood, a leading Vietnamese company in the dairy and nutrition sector, vertically integrated and in control of the entire supply chain, from seed to table.
The event was co-organized by SACE and Confindustria, which also oversaw its opening and implementation on a digital platform, with the support of HSBC Vietnam bank, and saw the participation of the Italian Trade Agency in HCMC and representatives of Federunacoma and ANIMA-Confindustria, the associations confederated to Confindustria itself and representative of the Italian machinery companies in the agricultural and agrifood sectors.
It was therefore a profitable opportunity for mutual presentation, but also an event capable of triggering immediate opportunities for Italian exporters.
Consul General Dante Brandi, directly from the NutiFood headquarters at HCMC and in the presence of the Group Managing Director Mrs. Le Tran Thi, underlined in his opening remarks the complementarity of the Italian and Vietnamese production systems. He also renewed the commitment of the Consulate General of Italy at HCMC, as well as that of all the actors of the Italian System in Vietnam, to assist and support this interesting development of bilateral economic relations.
