Foreign school degrees might not be valid in Italy. Students willing to receive a statement that their foreign degree is equivalent to the Italian one can request it to the Student office of the Consulate General of Italy.
Italian citizen can refer directly to Italian “Provveditorato agli Studi”, after obtaining the declaration of value from the Consulate General. Only after being declared equivalent to the Italian degrees (junior high school, senior high school, bachelor or master) foreign degrees will be valid in Italy.
Students willing to receive a declaration of value will have to submit:
· Hard copy or true copy of the degree, attested by the school/university, signed by the school/university officer and legalised by the Vietnamese Ministry of foreign Affairs;
· Translation into Italian of the degree, done by an authorised translator.
